Just like colours, our feelings can mix together.

Primary colours are red, blue, and yellow. When you mix them, you get new colours like orange, green, and purple. Emotions can work the same way.

Some feelings come first, like sad, hurt, scared, or disappointed. These are like primary colours. When these big feelings mix together or get really strong, they can turn into anger, which is like a secondary colour.

So anger usually doesn’t just “show up.” It’s often made from other feelings underneath it.
