Empowering Change, One Story at a Time

I’m a therapist who believes healing doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time, it can also be about laughter, connection, and learning to love yourself and others in new ways. With a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and over 10 years of experience in the mental health and social service fields, I help individuals, couples, and families heal from generational trauma, strengthen their relationships, and step into new chapters of life with confidence. Wedding counseling is one of my favorite specialties—because what better time to build a strong foundation than when you’re starting (or restarting) your forever?

My career has taken me from supervising at a youth treatment center, to helping families in the Northwest Territories stay connected, to supporting individuals in Florida navigating substance use and court-mandated therapy. These experiences taught me that healing looks different for everyone, but connection, whether to yourself or others, is always at the heart of it.

On a personal note, I’ve been happily married for 7 years, and my own marriage has given me a deep appreciation for the beauty, challenges, and growth that relationships bring. Beyond therapy, I’m a big foodie, a little bit quirky, and I love trying new things. You can usually catch me dancing it out in a Soca fitness class, watching relationship and dating shows (yes, I probably have opinions on every season), or hanging out with my siblings, nieces, and nephews, who I absolutely adore. I’m fun-loving but not afraid to challenge perspectives, and I bring that same energy into the therapy space, supportive, real, and full of heart.

Current Endeavors
I’m gearing up to begin my PhD in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy at Barry University in Miami Fall 2026. This next step is part of my commitment to deepening my expertise in couples and family work, so I can continue empowering others to break cycles, strengthen their relationships, and create new legacies of love and connection.
