Empowering Change, One Story at a Time

With a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and over 10 years of experience in the mental health and social service fields, I’m passionate about guiding my clients toward healing and growth.
My career journey has taken me across various roles and locations, each of which has shaped my approach to therapy. I have worked as a supervisor at a youth treatment center, supporting at-risk youth in their journey toward healing and empowerment. I also served as a Family Preservation Worker with the Government of Northwest Territories in Yellowknife, where I helped families navigate challenges, maintain their unity, and prevent child removal. Additionally, I have experience providing substance use treatment in Florida, as well as court-mandated clinical therapy, collaborating closely with the Florida Department of Corrections and Broward Police to support individuals facing legal challenges.
As a dual citizen of Canada and the U.S., I bring a unique understanding of the cultural and systemic differences between these regions, which allows me to offer cross-border therapy and a diverse, inclusive perspective for clients from various backgrounds.
On a personal note, I’ve been happily married for 7 years, and I deeply understand the complexities of relationships—especially those that face unique challenges like long-distance relationships. My training in couples counseling and firsthand experience navigating the intricacies of long-distance relationships has strengthened my ability to support couples at any stage of their journey.
