FAQs
-
Not at all! I offer both in-person couples therapy in Mississauga, Ontario, and virtual sessions. You and your partner can attend from the comfort of your own home, even if you're not physically together.
-
Yes, in certain circumstances! I offer virtual couples therapy for partners located in different jurisdictions, provided both locations fall within the areas where I'm authorized to practise.
These include Ontario, Alberta, the Northwest Territories, and Florida.
For example, if one partner lives in Ontario and the other is in Florida, we may be able to attend sessions together virtually. I'll confirm eligibility based on both partners' physical locations before booking.
-
Absolutely not! Couples therapy isn't just for relationships in crisis. Some couples come to improve communication, strengthen their connection, or navigate a new chapter together.
-
That's completely normal. Sometimes one partner feels more ready than the other. A complimentary consultation gives you an opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and explore whether therapy feels like a good fit.
-
My role isn't to decide who's right or wrong. I work to understand both partners' perspectives, identify unhelpful patterns, and support healthier communication while encouraging accountability and emotional safety.
-
It may be! Coverage depends on your individual insurance plan and whether it includes couples therapy provided by a Registered Psychotherapist. I provide receipts that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement, where eligible.
